MOUNT PLEASANT - The Central Michigan men's basketball team will face arguably its toughest test of the young season when it travels to undefeated Charlotte Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Chippewas (4-3) will square off against the 49ers (8-0) and try to become the first team this season to leave Charlotte's Halton Arena with a win.
Resiliency has been a primary character trait for the young Chippewas in 2012, as three of their four wins have come by four points or fewer. If the 2012 matchup between these two squads is anything like the 2011 edition, that trait might come in handy, as the Chippewas and 49ers battled into two overtimes, with Charlotte emerging victorious, 77-75.Senior guard Kyle Randall will look to keep up his strong play, having scored 45 points in his past two games.
