MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan University head coach Dan Enos has announced the immediate release of sophomores Austin White and Joe Sawicki and freshman Danel Harris from the football program.

"We hold our student-athletes to the highest standard of conduct as members of our team, our campus and our community," said Enos. "Actions that do not represent CMU and the community with pride have no place on our campus and will not be tolerated."

None of the three players have officially appeared in a CMU jersey. White transferred from Michigan and sat out the 2011 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Sawicki was on a medical scholarship and Harris was a non-scholarship walk-on who joined the program in January. Neither Sawicki or Harris participated in spring practices.

Deon Butler and Kevin King continue to be suspended indefinitely.
