Accessibility – Handicapped Patrons
Shuttle service is available for patrons needing assistance into the stadium. Patrons will be picked up from four designated areas throughout the parking lots. For further assistance please call (989) 774-3045. Accessible seating is available. Fans requiring special assistance are urged to make ticketing arrangements through Ticket Central (1-888-FIRE-UP2) in advance.
Accessibility – Hearing Impaired Patrons
Open captioning service is available for patrons unable to hear stadium announcements. All public address announcements will be accessible through a live blog throughout the game. To utilize this service, please visit the Customer Service Ticket Booth to check out a display device or follow online using your own internet device.
It is strictly prohibited to bring alcohol into Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Individuals violating this policy are subject to ejection from the stadium.
There are no ATMs located inside the stadium. The closest ATM is inside the Student Activity Center located north of the stadium.
Small cameras are allowed. Their carrying case must be smaller than 5.5" x 8.5" x 2".
Chippewa Kids Club
The Chippewa Kids Club is a members only group for children grades eight and below. This exclusive club allows members to be actively involved in CMU Athletic events, games, parties, and much more. It is FREE for children to join. [additional information]
Club Level Seats
These are available to members of the Chippewa Club. Membership allows you to have premium chairback seating, VIP parking (Lot 64), club lounge access, Max and Emily's concessions, private restrooms, and seats located directly in front of suites. For official Chippewas merchandise look no further than the CMU Bookstore. Grab those last minute tailgate supplies from our pregame tent on the Island. Once the gates open, stop in our Chippewas Varsity Shop stocked with the latest gear from the Adidas sideline collection. Our third game day location is on the southwest corner of the stadium where we have a great selection of T's, hoodies and fan gear for Firing Up our Chippewas.
CMU Sports Network
Play-by-play announcer Don Chiodo, color commentator Brock Gutierrez, and sideline reporter Justin Hoff bring fans every first down, touchdown, and goal line stand throughout the season. Listen to all games on local Mount Pleasant station 95.3 FM WCFX or across the state at one of the network's affiliates.
Tune in early for pregame analysis and listen to continued coverage on your way home with a live postgame show featuring interviews and a game breakdown.
Follow your Chippewas throughout the week, each Thursday from 6-7 p.m., with the "Front Row Seat" on 95.3 WCFX and 98.5 WUPS. Each episode includes coach and player interviews and details about the upcoming game.
Fire up with food and beverages! A Chippewa game at Kelly/Shorts Stadium is even better when you satisfy your hunger. Concession stands are located throughout the entire main (west) and east concourses, at Club Level and the south entrance. From traditional stadium fare to local flavors, we know what you're hungry for. While cash is accepted at all concession stands, FLEX Dollars, debit and credit cards are also accepted at the main concourse stands.
Central Michigan Athletics expects all fans to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during and after the game. We expect all fans to treat other fans, players, coaches and officials with courtesy. Fans should contact a stadium official or a police officer if they feel someone is not acting appropriately.

Located inside the northwest entrance to the stadium, cushion seats may be rented on a game-by-game basis for only $5.
First Aid/Emergency Medical Assistance
Available next to Section A in the northwest corner of the stadium. In case of an emergency, please contact the nearest police officer for assistance or call Central Michigan Police at (989) 774-3081 or 911.
Food and Beverage
Outside food and beverages are prohibited. (Exceptions: Medical reasons)
All gates to Kelly/Shorts Stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Purses, bags and packages are subject to searches. There are gates located at the north, south and west sides of the stadium. There is no re-entry once exiting Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
Information regarding Kelly/Shorts Stadium can be found in guest services, located at the will call ticket booth, the west ticket booth, or the Fan Central kiosk located on the concourse north of the stadium.
Lost and Found
If any article is lost or found in the stadium, please inquire about or report it to the ticket booth located in the northwest corner. Articles not claimed prior to the end of the game are turned over to the CMU Police (989) 774-3081. The police department can be reached at (989) 774-3081.
Don't miss your chance to see "one of the truly exciting bands in the land" marching toward the stadium in Lot 62. The Marching Chips will then parade down the east side hill into the stadium, customarily charging into their "Ooo-Wah" cheer and pregame performance. As the band marches by, that is your cue to enter the stadium and get ready for what is sure to be a game day experience you and your family won't forget.
Northeast Ticket Booth
Any special tickets, including group tickets, may be picked up at the northeast ticket booth.
All parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff and continue until kickoff.
Chippewa Club members and season ticket holders can save money by purchasing a season pass for only $45. Contact Ticket Central at 1-888-FIRE-UP-2 (347-3872).
The following items may be brought into the stadium:
- Bags smaller then 5.5" x 8.5" x 2"
- Seat cushions
- Pagers and cell phones
- Small cameras and radios
- Blankets and rain apparel
All pets (including dogs) are prohibited inside Kelly/Shorts Stadium. (Exception: Service animals are allowed to assist those with disabilities.)
Official game programs are sold for $5 each. They are sold near each entrance to the stadium and on the West Concourse until the end of the first quarter, or until supplies run out. Each full-color publication features a game preview, player rosters, coaches' information, starting line-ups, team statistics, and much more information.
For the safety and game day experience of all fans, the following items are prohibited from entering the stadium:
- Bags larger then 5.5" x 8.5" x 2"
- Outside food and drink (sealed or unsealed)
- Aerosol and spray cans
- Alcoholic beverages
- Coolers, thermoses, cups, bottles, cans or flasks
- Water bottles
- Artificial noisemakers
- Smoking in the stadium

Central Michigan University continually works with local and state law enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security to provide the safest and most pleasant gameday experience for fans inside and around Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Because of this commitment, CMU will implement a no re-entry policy for the September 8 game against Michigan State. No fan leaving Kelly/Shorts Stadium during this game will be permitted to re-enter. For all other games, unless otherwise notified, fans will be allowed re-entry through designated gates on the north and south ends of the stadium.
A limited number of RV parking passes is available for purchase in select parking lots. Overnight RV parking is permitted before day games and after night games. Contact Ticket Central at 1-888-FIRE-UP-2 (347-3872) to purchase before game day.
The Emergency Action Plan is designed in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security to keep all fans safe while providing a pleasant game day experience. Security personnel, trained annually for emergency procedures, are located throughout the stadium. All fans are subject to search as they enter the stadium to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Tickets may be purchased on game day by visiting the ticket booths on the north side of the stadium. (EXCEPTION: There will be no game day sales for the Michigan State game.)
Ticket windows and public will call windows open three hours prior to kickoff. All other will call windows open 1 1/2 hours prior to kickoff. (Tickets for player guests, recruits and high school coaches will not be given out earlier then 1 1/2 hours before the game.)
CMU students receive free admission to all CMU sporting events with their student ID card. The student gates are located on the south side of the stadium.
Located on the north side of the stadium in Lot 62, "The Island" has a lot to offer! Whether it's meeting with friends and fellow members at the Chippewa Athletic Fund and President's Circle tents, taking the family through games and inflatables, or interacting in the Chippewa Kids Club area, "The Island" is packed with fun, excitement and even music from local hit station 95.3 WCFX!
Ushers are available at the entrance to each section to serve the needs of patrons.
Public, CMU player guests, recruits and high school coaches pick up tickets at the will call booth located at the northwest corner of the stadium. A valid photo ID must be presented to pick up tickets.
50/50 raffle tickets are available at each home game. Ticket sellers can be found throughout the stadium. The winning ticket number is announced in the third quarter.
