Sports Medicine Championship Fund

Our ability to meet the daily health care needs of our student-athletes is directly related to the contributions we receive from our Chippewa Athletic Fund donors.

We are striving to provide the facilities, equipment and staff so that we can give all of our student-athletes the championship level sports medicine care they deserve.

Laser Therapy Equipment

The contribution of laser therapy in the treatment of injured players this past fall was tremendous. We believe it was a key factor in our ability to prepare our players each week as we completed our Championship season.

One-Time Cost: $12,000

Vectra-Genesis Multi Modality Units

These units offer multiple treatment choices and can serve up to four patients at a time. We currently have two of these units and they are used heavily. Having these units in our possession will allow us to be more efficient and effective in the recovery of our student-athletes.

One-Time Cost: $5,000-$8,000

Fellowship Positions

Fulfillment of this need will give us the extra help needed to treat our players. It will give us the opportunity to mold a champion of our own who will leave CMU with solid real world experience and the knowledge needed to be successful in their career of sport’s medicine.

Annual Cost: $15,000
