MOUNT PLEASANT - Fans can enjoy exciting Chippewa action all day long as the Central Michigan University football and men’s basketball teams travel to Detroit on Dec. 1.
Head coach Butch Jones and the back-to-back West Division champion football team will face the Miami RedHawks in the Mid-American Conference championship game at Ford Field, as the Chippewas try to defend their 2006 MAC title. Kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m.
Fans who travel across town to Calihan Hall and show their ticket stub from the MAC championship game will receive a 50% discount on an upper reserved ticket to see men’s basketball head coach Ernie Zeigler and the Chippewas take on the University of Detroit Titans. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. After the discount, tickets are just $6.
