For the past 50 years, 14-time Emmy Award winning sportscaster Dick Enberg has taken us along a trip through all major sports in America and Olympics around the world. He has called everything from Grand Slam tennis tournaments to NCAA basketball, the NBA, NFL, MLB, and the PGA Tour.

Dick, a 1957 graduate of Central Michigan University, was inducted into the CMU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1993 and in 2007 CMU named the athletic academic center in Dick's honor. He continues to combine two of his passions  - academic success among student-athletes and his alma mater - through CMU's annual Dick Enberg Team Leadership Award and Dick Enberg Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.

Dick is one of four sportscasters to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has been named National Sportscaster of the year nine times. He has also received the PeteRozelle Award by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Curt Gowdy Award by the Basketball Hall of Fame, and the Gene Scott Award from the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Most recently, in December 2011, Dick was inducted into the prestigious Rose Bowl Hall of Fame.

Currently the play-by-play announcer for the San Diego Padres, Dick is a proud member of Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity.
