Mount Pleasant, Mich. - The Central Michigan wrestling program will look for its fifth Mid-American Conference victory of the season when it takes on conference-affiliate Old Dominion Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Chippewas (8-6, 4-2 MAC) are coming off a 21-12 win at Kent State last Sunday and have won two of their last three duals. The meeting will be the first in conference competition versus the Monarchs (5-8, 1-2 MAC), who earned their first conference win in school history last weekend at Buffalo.

NCAA Releases First Coaches' Panel Rankings: The NCAA released its first of three coaches' panel rankings last Thursday afternoon with six Central Michigan wrestlers ranked in the top 33 nationally. Sophomore Zach Horan received the highest ranking of any Chippewa as the coaches slotted him No. 7 at 141 pounds. Redshirt freshman Corey Keener (125), senior Joe Roth (133), senior Scott Mattingly (149), sophomore Lucas Smith (157) and junior Mike Ottinger (174) were also ranked.
MAC Releases Second January Rankings: The MAC office released its second set of coaches' rankings for the month of January last Thursday with the Chippewas slated to finish fourth at the MAC Championships March 8. Northern Iowa was picked to win the title with 20.0 team points, while Missouri (18.5 points) and Ohio (17.0 points) are still in front of the Maroon and Gold. Junior Mike Ottinger moved into the No. 1 slot at 174 pounds, while sophomore Lucas Smith moved up to No. 2 at 157 pounds.
CMU vs. ODU: The Chippewas hold a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series between the two programs and defeated the Monarchs inside McGuirk Arena last season, 25-6.
Perfect in the MAC: Senior Joe Roth (6-0) and sophomores Zach Horan (5-0) and Lucas Smith (5-0) will look to remain perfect in conference competition. Horan will square off versus No. 6 ranked Christ Mecate at 141, who is also ranked as the top 141-pounder in the MAC.
