CMU-MSU Set for 3:30 p.m. Kickoff

CMU 2012 Football Schedule

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan's historic matchup with Michigan State, the Clash at Kelly/Shorts, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 and will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

The Mid-American Conference and Big Ten Conference, in conjunction with ESPN, announced kickoff times for several of this season's games on Thursday.

Three more of CMU's 2012 game times were officially announced Thursday. CMU's road game at Toledo on Oct. 6 is set for 3 p.m. and will be available nationally on ESPN3.com and locally in Toledo via tape delay on BCSN. The Chippewas' Homecoming game against Ball State on Oct. 20 will kick off at 3:30 p.m., while CMU's road game at Northern Illinois will get underway at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

CMU will make at least five appearances on the ESPN family of networks during the 2012 season: Sept. 8 versus Michigan State (ESPNU), Oct. 6 at Toledo (ESPN3.com), Oct. 12 versus Navy (ESPN2), Nov. 3 vs. Western Michigan (ESPN3.com) and Nov. 23 at Massachusetts (ESPNU/ESPN3.com).

The remainder of CMU's kickoff times for the 2012 season and additional television appearances will be released as they are finalized.

Single-game tickets for the 2012 football season are on sale now by calling 1-888-FIRE-UP2 or by visiting Ticket Central online or in person at the CMU Events Center. Sales of Michigan State tickets end Friday.
