MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan held its final dress rehearsal prior to the 2012 spring football game on Thursday.
The Chippewas conducted an intrasquad scrimmage of about 100 plays during Thursday's practice, the final extended full-contact 11-on-11 session the team will have prior to next Saturday's spring game.
The CMU Sports Zone caught up with head coach Dan Enos following Thursday's practice to get his thoughts on the scrimmage as well as which players have emerged as leaders during spring camp.
CMU's spring football game is now less than 10 days away. Kickoff of the spring game is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. The Chippewas' players and coaches will host a free youth skills clinic before the game beginning at 11:30 a.m. Clinic registration and an autograph session with the CMU players begins at 10:30 a.m.
