Josh Reasoner, a member of the Central Michigan University Athletics Department staff since 2007, was promoted to his current position of Supervisor of Equipment / Apparel and Branding in January 2013. Added to his duties at that time were apparel purchasing for football as well as branding and identity of apparel and equipment for all 16 sport programs and department administration. Reasoner also directs Adidas purchases for more than 20 university campus groups and 15 campus recreation teams.

Reasoner joined the staff as an Athletic Equipment Specialist, responsible for equipment management and purchasing for all 15 of CMU's Olympic sport programs.

In 2009 he became Coordinator of Equipment Operations, serving as the university's primary contact for all purchases made through CMU's contract with Adidas America. Reasoner was instrumental in bringing the Adidas agreement to CMU, which was recognized with the Adidas "University of the Year" award following the first year of the contract.

Reasoner came to CMU from the Grand Rapids Rampage, where he directed the quality control for the Arena Football League franchise, including team housing, travel arrangements, professional scouting, player waivers, corporate housing and day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining the Rampage in 2007, Reasoner served as President and Director of Football Operations for the GLIFL Champion Port Huron Pirates. While in Port Huron, he became the youngest professional to be President of an indoor football franchise. In July 2006, Reasoner guided his franchise to an undefeated inaugural season and the Great Lakes Bowl championship. Reasoner also headed the team's inaugural player personnel.

Reasoner started in equipment at the age of 21 as the Director of Athletic Equipment Operations while still an undergraduate at Liberty University. His responsibilities included managing Liberty's equipment and directing team travel for the football program.

Reasoner has served as the Director of Athletic Equipment Operations at Wofford College, completed an internship with the Cincinnati Bengals equipment staff, and worked with CBS Sports for college game days.

Reasoner is married to the former Kate Eldred and they currently live in Mount Pleasant.
