CORAL GABLES, Fla. Facing its third ranked opponent of the season, the Central Michigan women's basketball team will square off with No. 17 Texas in the opening round of the Miami Holiday Tournament on Monday at the BankUnited Center.

It is the first meeting between the two programs on the hardwood. Miami will face Quinnipiac in the other first-round match-up. Tuesday's second-round games will be determined by Monday's contests, with the winners and losers of each contest facing each other. Should CMU face Miami, the game will tip off at 3 p.m. If Central Michigan faces Quinnipiac, that contest will start at 5 p.m.
