State Farm Scholar Athlete of the Week - Melinda Curran

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Melinda Curran is this week's State Farm CMU Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
The senior did not allow a goal in three appearances (two starts) last week.
She made seven saves in a 1-0 win over Michigan, the program’s first over the Wolverines since 1988, on Wednesday. Curran then turned away three shots in over 60 minutes of action in a 4-1 win against Missouri State on Saturday and made two more saves and did not allow a goal in over 40 minutes in relief in Sunday’s 3-1 win over Missouri State.
Curran completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and statistics with a 3.83 grade-point average.
